$2,000,000 (policy limit) • Stroke and Partial Hemi-Paralysis. Negligent Neurosurgery.
The Plaintiff had been diagnosed with a benign meningioma in the brain. During surgery, the defendant neurosurgeon over manipulated the tumor causing the plaintiff to suffer an intra-operative stroke and leaving him partially hemiplegic.
The original plaintiff's attorneys voluntarily dismissed the case. The plaintiff was turned down by seven other plaintiff's lawyers before he hired attorney Kurt Lloyd.
The plaintiff's attorney Lloyd consulted a nationally recognized, leading neurosurgeon on the subject of surgical removal of a meningioma who testified that the defendant's technique was negligent causing the plaintiff's stroke.
